1. Can we make phone calls : No, Karbonn tab does not support Sim card . So you cannot make a phone calls from it. But you can make video calling through different video calling software like Skype.
2. When it will be delivered: Till now delivery has not been started. But the booking of the tablet has been started and you can book your tablet here. Book Karbonn tab. Payment and delivery process has not been known till now but it will start soon.
3. How to connect to the internet: Karbonn tab does not support sim card slot but still it can be connected to the internet through the USB dongle. It also support 3G dongle.
4. When it will come to market: It is supposed to be released in the first week of May but it has been postponed and no dates is known till now.
5. Can the tablets play high definition videos on them? : Yes! Karbonn tab is capable of playing HD content on them and are also having HDMI port to attach to TV. The tab is designed in such a way that it is more entertainment oriented.
6.Can tablet will be delivered to any part of the country? : Oh yes, it will be! The tablet will be delivered to any part of the India, even in the remote places also. The future plans are under hold by the company.
7. How to pay for tablet after booking: Till now no information is available on payment method. But most likely payment can be made through credit, debit and net banking.

There is no sim slot so one cannot use this tab as a mobile phone then better to purchase notebook or laptop
Since it is androd O/S , not support MS word or excel directly. But you can view the content of msword & excel file format through quick office. Secondly you can able to send received mails from GMAIL, YAHOO and can be sync..

I have got karbonn tab yesterday & connected with TATA Photon
i have made security function on by selecting unlocking patterns but unfortuneatly it will attempted several times & my device locked now shows
on screen “Too many Pattern attemots!”
to unlock sign in with your google account

i have connected photon & entered the gmail id & password but i m n’t able to sign in to account it shows
checking & then shows invalid username & password
although i have entered correct password & ID
at the botom of the screen it shows
Forgot username or password?
visit google.com/accounts/recovery
i have sign in using desktop & resetted my password but still not able to log in tablet,
TATA photon connected showing No internet connection at battery indicator
Please suggest what to do?

I am also facing the same problem here. My tablet got locked after unsuccessful attempts. Finally we unlocked successfully by installing the factory settings. But we have a different problem now – we are not able to connect to internet using tata photon dongle which was working fine earlier. Anybody has found a solution for this.
Can we play HD games Like Asphalt 6,NFS Hot Pursuite in karbon smart tab 1????
If you looking at this Tablet as a gaming console then forget about it. Specs look only good on paper, in real its a joke. Majority of the HD games are not supported. None of the games you mentioned are supported.
I can’t use my Idea Huawei E1732) or Reliance (EC 150) net dongles with my new Karbonn tab. Is there any way one can do this? please help or I’ll be forced to part with the tablet.

or
Press Power key + Option key for few seconds then release power key. Press option key untill android boot screen comes. From there you choose your options whatever you want.

Can I ask you a question. I know you’ve removed my previous review. Why is it that Karbonn is not giving any support to its customers. There are several people who got issues with their tablet and there is no response from Karbonn. What am I supposed to do with the tab, throw it garbage can?
Since you got this website promoting Karbonn smart tab, you should have some responsibility to inform Karbonn to provide some support to customers. No response by email, toll free numbers and service centers deny any support for the smart tab. You cannot just get a tablet from China, brand it and sell it in India like that without any support. You please check other forums, there are lots of helpless customers looking for support. Please reply to my mail ID.
I do agree with your comment .. Even i had purchase karbonn Tab & later come to know it is onlt working with very few 3G datacard.
Very disappointed with this. Company has not given any shcu information.
In feature list it is mentioned
3G supported with USB donggle.. what does men? it is very generic Term.
Now i have to buy either other 3G donggle or portable Wi-fi router.
I had very Good imression about Karbonn company but it was till IPL where they have distributed free Tab & spend lot money in AD companion not for Service Support.
I feel promoter has to understand you can increase market share not only with Advertisement but you need to have very strong Service support to build Brand.
I had read most unhappy customer review including me about compalining about Product.After my experience i will not recommand anyone to buy this budget tabs rather wait for sometime or increase your budget & buy quality product for happy ending.
I bought a Karbonn Tablet to use it for video calling via Skype. However, I was indeed disappointed when customer care confirmed that it does not support Skype. I tried pre-installed Google Talk version 4.0.3 which is meant for voice and video chat, unfortunately, even Gtalk is not serving the purpose. Attempted to download and install other voice/video chat apps like Tango, even those didn’t work as the tablet is not compatible with any of the video calling apps. Please suggest appropriate video calling apps which is compatible with the Karbonn Tablet. Thanks.

I was about to buy a karbonn Tablet. However, after reading through the experience of several disatisfied users, I think I will look for a better product. Thanks for your frank opinion.
Recently purchased Karboon Smart Tab 1.Few days it worked fine,but now even after holding power button for 20 seconds the tablet is not opening.Any one has solution for this.
